We can provide a UKAS accredited service to meet all of your PART L2A AND L2B needs. There is a choice of  services, we are able to offer an all inclusive package, or alternatively you may wish to use our restricted service. WHAT IS PART L2A?

There is now a testing requirement for buildings above 500m2  GIFA. The test standard has changed for buildings over 500m2 GIFA and is now based on the Air Leakage rate that is used in the DER Calculation (Design Emission Rate). Buildings below 500m2 GIFA do not require a test if the leakage rate of 15m3/m2/h is used to calculate the DER. 

WHAT IS PART L2B?

The construction of an extension would be treated as a new build commercial building if the GIFA of that existing is increased by 25% or more. In this event an Air Leakage Test will be required.
